Nikola Tesla was probably the most scientifically gifted man following the great Leonardo Da Vinci. He was also a contemporary of WR. Both men understood the true workings of Nature and in particular - electricity.
NT taught us that current does not flow in a wire, rather it flows around the wire - skin effect, Likewise, WR describes the only motion in the perceived universe exists in the loops of force which surround a current carrying wire, and the effect of current flowing in a wire is an illusion.

One of NT's favourite inventions was his bladeless turbine. I strongly suspect that the bladeless turbine is the mechanical equivalent of the true nature of electricity.

(fig : 1)
(fig : 2)

The function of the disks in NT turbine (fig : 2) is exactly analogous to the loops of force surrounding a current carrying wire.

These loops of force interact with each other as if they were clutch plates. Slow moving loops with a large central hole will tend to slip and lose traction with one another, while fast circulating loops with small central holes will tend to grip more tightly with one another.
This clutch slipping/gripping principle contributes to

  • the overall spiral motion
  • polar motion being slower than equatorial motion in a planetary body
  • slipping clutches result in low torque and low current
  • gripping clutches result in high torque and high current

Remember, motion is either inwards towards a center of gravity or outwards away from that same center of gravity. That's the only motion in the entire perceived universe.

The input (fig : 2) follows a spiral path in towards the center. The input medium (air) is centripetally compressed and the pressure rises dramatically. The tendency to leak air pressure via centrifugal escape is overcome and almost the entirety of the exhaust exits via the center.

Man subjects his turbine blades to a head on 90° impact with the motive force. Man works against Nature !
NT turbine works with Nature and emulates the natural flows evident in the cosmos.

From a WR perspective, think of the inward spiral towards the center as compression of the E/W poles with the emerging central exhaust manifesting the N/S poles, just as the loops of force replicate in fig : 1.

The frequency of light determines the 'gap' between the loops of force. Low frequency increases the gap, while high frequency tightens the loops together.
The disk gap is critical to the efficient operation of a NT turbine. The tighter the gap the greater the efficiency and power.

(fig : 3)
(fig : 4)

The crab nebula (fig : 4) certainly gives the impression that the central spiral could indeed be made up of stacked disks and function exactly as indicated by a Tesla turbine.

Another factor for consideration is as follows.

(fig : 5)
(fig : 5a)

Notice in fig : 5a as the exhaust pushes away from the body, it's motion will push the body itself in the opposite direction aiding the overall anti-CW motion of the body.
An important implication of fig : 5a is, if the inputs are perfectly aligned then they will colloid head on. Nature does not work that way. She offset the head on streams so that they will induce spin to the body rather than causing a head on collision.

(fig : 5b)

Man must use electric current to cause his loops of force to spin as NT spun his rotor disks. Cylindrical coils are very inefficient because they do not follow the principle evident in nature. Look closely at fig : 1 and observe the orientation of the loops of force. The loops at at right angles to the wire. If man winds a core with copper wire the resultant loops of force create the typical toroidal field as indicated in fig : 6. Man is focused on the wrong loops !!!

Fig : 7 indicates the problem, but also highlights the solution !

(fig : 6)
(fig : 7)

Fig : 6 indicates a cylindrical core/coil combination. However, by making conical coils as taught by WR not only will the coil produce the typical loops of force indicated in orange, but the conical shape will also produce another field effect 90° offset from the wire loops.
It is these loops (Mind) that the geometry of the conical coil create and it is these loops that must be compressed to create axis of force.

Man can of course increase the voltage and current, increasing the field effect of fig : 6 but his effects will always be inefficient as his efforts operating a turbine indicate. They might work, but with far too much effort !

Geometry alone in combination with current will work with Nature and behave more like NT turbine, a device which can achieve 97% efficiency.

This is is also what WR was indicating in his drawing
